Kwong Dong Restaurant @ Klang

Yesterday i did blog about a very bad dim sum experience in Klang but now i'm gonna share something good...something worth trying in Klang too. hehehe.... Klang still have good food la... yes... Hitomi agree on that!

Let's start with a simple vegetables - Kangkung Belacan! Not everyone can cook a good belacan kangkung even tho its a simple dish.... This version was slightly oily to me but i love the intense flavour of the belacan into it! The vege is not over-cooked and it goes so well with the white rice....

Next is the tofu broth ( fake shark fin's soup ) I definitely love this version coz i like anything with sticky soup base... it really taste like shark fin's soup but basically it cooked with tofu, seafood, crab stick and mushroom.

Herbal Chicken !! This dish is specially ordered for my parents coz they dun like fried food or any oily food. The taste was just right for them !

Tada...... this is the STAR of the night!!! Cheesy Pork Trotters!! My first time trying cheesy version of it and i just love the way they create the recipe. Fried Pork trotter bath with cheesy sauce!! It's just so rich!

Look at the succulent and tender juicy meat!!!

the owner offered us a free "mak zhuk" as dessert even tho the taste is not really good.... but i enjoyed this dinner very much especially with the pork trotters..

You wan to come again?

Direction : WHen u drive from KL Federal Highway pass through Klang Toll, go str8 and you will see Jusco on yr right. Go up the bridge and go str8 until u see a left turn goin down the bridge. Keep to the left till u reach the round about and slight before you reach the roundabout, you will see a roll of shop houses on yr left. Kwong Dong restaurant is just in the middle of the shop ( Beside Golden Leaf Restaurant )

OMG!!! Annoucement to everyone. I think i made a mistake on the pork trotters dish...its actually not a cheese sauce but "Nai Yau" sauce aka butter sauce.... but still, the taste is heavenly good! Once again, sorry ya!
