Hulala...it's time to blog about food from Klang... This is the only restaurant in Klang that offered good food and good ambiance ( the rest of chinese restaurant was far too "CINA' feel)
Like usual, before review about the food, i will definitely blog some picture of my precious Hitomi. *My mummy is hiding away from camera*
Beautiful aunt and Hitomi
Let's start with something light, and delicious - Baked Mashed Sweet Potato Puff 王宫金薯酥 RM 3.80
The inside.. the pastry was flaky and buttery with lots of black sesame seed! I personally love the soft mashed sweet potatoes which make me feel "HEALTHY"
Pumpkin Omochi 南瓜豆沙 RM 3.80. The pumpkin shaped "kuih" was a bit too normal if compared with its look. Actually, i was expecting more..
Traditional "Kai Chat" with Fish Maw 怀旧大利鸡札 RM 6.80 - I love the texture of this dim sum coz its a combination of crispy and soft. The mouth feel was so good!
Again, this is still my favourite among all - Steamed Siew Mai with mushroom 香菇烧卖皇 RM 6.00. It's a combination on minced pork, fish and prawn delighted with mushroom.. good!!

Steamed FIsh Ball with "Sai Yong CHoi" 西洋菜蒸鱼卖 RM 4.80. This is something special on the name but honestly speaking, i didn't feel any taste of "sai yong choi"

Prawn Paste with Bitter gourd 翡翠苦瓜鲜虾饼 RM 8.50. Should i recommend this? Personally i dun really like bitter gourd but this combination was something special to me.. not bitter at all and u can feel the cube of bitter gourd when u bite on it..

steamed glutinous rice with chicken and mushroom 古法糯米鸡 RM 6.00 The glutinous was sticky soft with rich flavour..the chicken was well marinated...and the lap cheong...ooo..nice nice
Imbi Palace Fried Egg Noodle with seafood 皇宫海鲜炒面 RM 34.00. I was a bit disappointed with this dish.... where i find the fried noodle was over fried which give a burnt taste to the noodle.. The portion of seafood was too little compared to the price and the taste was just as normal as a plate of Cantonese fried noodle...Beside the food above, there is other food that u should try ( i tried it during my 1st visit but didn't take picture)
1) Deep Fried Egg Plant with Chicken Floss
2) Roasted Pork with wasabi
3) XIu Loong Bao
4) Fried Carrot Cake
5) Egg Tart

Hi Jackson! Thanks for visiting my blog. So, you're a food critic? HA!HA! and why not, right? I must refer to your blog before I go back to KL next. I used to live in Taman Midah, Cheras in the early 80s. The whole place has changed so much I don't know my way around anymore. I love Char Siew too, my aunt has a wanton noodle and char siew stall in a coffee shop (char siew Seng? I cant be sure of the name) in New Town PJ near Sri Karak. It's a corner shop. Have you tried the Char siew there? I absolutely love it! Your (niece?) Hitomi is such a cute bub!
