My friend ordered an a-la-carte which was the sticky rice with lotus leaf....... and he claimed that he actually regret to order that. I tried a tiny bite on it...........eeuuu.......lukily not me...hehehe... and the portion was so small!!
He also ordered the chicken feet - "Gai Giok" which........errr...ok la...not too bad with the combination on sweet n sourish taste.
I pula ordered the set meal which come with a soup - Sze Chuan sweet and sour soup.
And the main was the char siew rice. The char siew wasn't so great compared to those that i blog before and the tiny portion of rice only enough to cover the left hand side of my stomach... It's a bit dry for me and further more, the rice is a white rice which i still prefer those chicken rice type with ginger and margarine flavour...
I guess it is only my personal opinion. Some of my friends love their food.....

yeee...luckily i havent stepped into this restaurant yet! I tot this is one of Crystal Jade's branch.
Oh, there is nothing more disappointing when you pay good money for good ingredient made very badly. It is an insult to the food, and the wallet.
yeah i also tot its Crystal Jade's branch! But ppl are lining up in Spore wor...No such outlet in Penang...Haha your post save my wallet : P or at least lesser dish to try! lolz

lannae : Ya, true! And its really sad if you already spend a high price on dinner and u need to spend again for 2nd round of dinner.
jian : I find Singapore ppl like to line-up for food especially when they newly open. But then it will go off very soon after another new concept appear...
I tried this restaurant about a year ago... and I swore I would never come to this place again! U pay expensive for lousy food and bad service. I wonder why still got ppl queueing up there everytime I pass by.
I took some pictures during my last visit but it was not a pleasant meal so I decided not to post since I know I could not stop complaining. Sekali kena sued. Hahaha!
fenfen : somtimes we hv to admit that we are a food blogger. End of the day, their business still target on mass consumer. May be for mass market, they are really good.
