Chong Kok Kopitiam, Klang

I heard of this kopitiam from a Chinese food writer. He gave a lot of good comment on the environment and because of his recommendation, myself and my lady colleague drive all the way to Port Klang, just to sip on the coffee. It's a very traditional kopitiam and the name was called - Chong Kok Kopitiam. Have you ever think of trying Traditional Nasi Lemak cooked by malay in CHong Kok?? Check it out!

The window display...

I really love the old and traditional environment with old furniture, yellow wall tiles, old picture hanging on the wall and of course, the hot and pack ambiance. Simply because I'm sick of the modern kopitiam which was booming every corner of KL and Klang.

Even it's called Chong Kok Kopitiam, 80% of the crowd was Malay and Indian. The feeling of the Malaysia Negara Muhibbah was so strong!! All the races was actually enjoy a cuppa under one roof!

we choose a table next to this beautiful window....
Steamed bread with kaya and butter. Something good about their bread was that the kaya was not too sweet and the butter was evenly spread all over the bread.

Hot kopi-O with the nice yellow cup and saucer.
Toasted bread
Half-boiled egg! The egg was just perfectly half-cooked!! The smooth texture of the egg mixed so well with the soy sauce and pepper powder!! Ohh....I'm in heaven now...
Toasted wholemeal bun.

Nasi Lemak with sambal Sotong!! It's really a perfect match for a Malay Nasi lemak with Chinese Kopi - O!!

behind the shop, there is a small table with a wording "PENULISAN AWAM". It's a service offered for letter writing and translation.

It's been a long time i never enjoyed myself so much with just a simple breakfast. Below are a review in Chinese by my colleague.... Hope u guys like it.
